In 1990 Paul Scott, who had just disbanded ' Totally Straight', his first 'serious' rock band, relocated to California to begin a creative and 'colorful' episode collaborating with the fresh talent of Mike Freeman, who was based in Laguna Beach, California. Colin Stuart, he sound engineer parachuted in from the UK to oversee the recording project, took the new songs to his contacts in Prague, Czech Republic, and formed another band he called Color Factory. He signed up with local EMI lavel and first wave of success began. Paul and Mike's songs were shot into the charts with 3 of them topping at No1, No4 & No.6 in the same week!
